This dish is not only simple to prepare but also customisable, making it a satisfying option for a busy day, a cozy evening in or your 12am cravings.

Ingredients (serves 1)

thinly sliced beef

150-200 grams

tomato

1 medium, diced

shin ramen

1 pack

water

2 cups

sesame oil

1 tablespoon

fried egg

for toppings

Steps

  1. In a pot, heat oil over medium-high heat. Season the beef slices with salt and pepper. Sear the beef for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned but not fully cooked. Remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it. Stir in the diced tomato, shin ramen seasoning pack and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the tomatoes soften and release their juices.
  3. Add the Shin Ramyeon pack and 2 cups of water to the skillet. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer and add the seared beef to the skillet. Drizzle with sesame oil.
  4. In a separate pan, fry an egg to your desired level of doneness (sunny-side-up works great). Add it on top of the noodles and enjoy!
